The Asian School is situated on a 15-acre campus, in tranquil and sylvan surroundings of the posh colony of Vasant Vihar, Dehradun, very close to the heart of the city. It is about 5 km from the clock tower.
The school is about 240 km from Delhi.
There are buses every hour going to Dehradun from Delhi. It takes approximately 6 hours to reach Dehradun. Some trains take you overnight to Dehradun with two Shatabadi trains taking 6 hours each. Also, there are two flights daily that take you to Dehradun in about 40 minutes.
Further, the School campus is about 3 km from the Railway Station, 5 km from the Bus Stand, and approximately 20 km from the Airport.

All the rules and regulations of the School Society are followed. The School society recruits the staff, conducts regular training sessions for them and monitors the imparting of academics and the overall functioning of the School.
The School has a pollution-free 15-acre sprawling campus. The classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated. The classes are equipped with a computer & and projector and other teaching aids, including Internet and multimedia. Physics, Chemistry, Life – Science, Language, Multimedia, Computer, History, and Geography Labs have been provided. A Wireless LAN has been set up to access the Internet. The School has an exhaustive library, playgrounds, and a swimming pool. There are separate hostels for Junior Boys, Senior Boys, Junior Girls, and Senior Girls.
Hostels are large and airy with a capacity of 100 children each. Each hostel has an attached common room for their leisure and spare time activities and a prep room for self-study.
Yes, the School has a separate hostel for girls. The Boys’ hostels and the Girls’ hostels are in different areas of the campus, separated by a guarded gate and under constant surveillance by CCTV cameras.
There are Dorm Parents and Wardens on each floor to look after the boarders. In addition, there are housekeeping staff to clean and help the younger children get ready. They also help girls and Sikh students who need help with their hair. Further, all these are closely monitored by the Head of Residence (‘HoR’).
Yes, we have students from different countries. Special care is taken to ensure that the international students settle down in the new culture.

Remedial classes are held in the afternoon and the evening under the supervision of tutors and dorm parents for the subjects children need help with.
Certain activities such as arts and crafts, debating, quizzing, etc are organized in campus or at times, the boarders are taken for an outing in an organized way.

We follow a zero-tolerance policy. No act of indiscipline is ignored. The School has a Disciplinary Committee which takes immediate action.
Home-cooked, hygienic, nutritious vegetarian and non-vegetarian, Indian, Chinese, and Continental food is served in the Mess. Milk is served three times a day. Fruit and dessert once every day. The food is wholesome, nutritious, and tasty.
The boarders play indoor and outdoor games. They go to the gym and swimming pool. They watch TV for half an hour every day.
No, as it disrupts the child’s schedule if the parents stay on campus. In addition, we cannot verify the backgrounds of other people who are escorting the parents. Hence, we do not have that facility keeping in mind your child’s safety.
Yes, coaches come to train the students in various sports such as basketball, cricket, swimming, badminton etc.
